We are now shipping books and individual journal back copies (not subscriptions). Please note: due to coronavirus disruption deliveries may take longer than usual.
All subscribers will receive digital copies of journals, and print copies will follow once we are able to send them.

Making A Purchase
Browse our catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on “Checkout” and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

If you are shopping from outside the UK, your credit card company will convert the transaction from sterling to your own currency.
Shipping And Handling
For customers in the UK we offer free postage and packing. Your order is sent by second class post or, for larger orders, by parcel post.
For customers in World Zone 1 (view list of countries below), for postage we charge 35% of your order cost if the total is up to £20. We charge 25% for orders between £20 and £40, with a postage cap of £10 per order. Your order will be sent by air mail. For more information please contact us on email@example.com.
For customers in World Zone 2 (view list of countries below) we charge 45% of your order up to £17 and 35% on orders between £17 and £35, with a postage cap of £12 per order. Your order is sent by air mail. For more information please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
If the title you order is in stock we will despatch in 3-4 days, if it needs to be ordered from the warehouse it will be despatched in 5-7 days. UK delivery time is 2-3 days, Europe 5-7 days, Rest of the World 10-14 days.
If the title is not in stock, we will back order for you. We will record your order and when it becomes available, we will email you to request payment if it is still required. You are not obliged to purchase such items when they do become available.
Any goods we supply that you discover you do not want for any reason can be returned for a refund provided that:
- Returns are made within 28 days
- The purchaser pays for the cost of returning the goods
- The goods are returned in good condition and are resaleable

Any item that is supplied damaged or faulty will be replaced free of charge but we may ask the purchaser to return the copies before replacing them.
Our policy lasts 28 days. If 28 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we may not be able to offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Book with obvious signs of use
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 28 days after delivery
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund after at least five days, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at email@example.com.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and send your item to: Lawrence & Wishart Ltd, PO Box 7701, Latchingdon, Chelmsford, CM3 6WL.
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Lawrence & Wishart, Central Books Building, Freshwater Road, Chadwell Heath, RM8 1RX.
Any item that is supplied damaged or faulty will be replaced free of charge and your shipping costs refunded.
For returns for other reasons, you will be responsible for paying the shipping costs to return your item.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for ensuring that your returned item reaches us successfully and in its original condition.
