Peter Buse

Peter Buse is Dean of the School of the Arts at the University of Liverpool.  He was formerly Head of Performance and Screen Studies at Kingston University, and before that Professor of Visual Culture at the University of Salford. He’s the author of The Camera Does the Rest: How Polaroid Changed Photography (Chicago: University of Chicago Press, 2016) a media archaeology of instant photography.  He is an Executive Member of the European Society for Periodical Research and a board member of New Formations.
