Omikemi is a writer, poet and alumni of The Complete Works III. She grew up in South London with her Jamaican grandparents. Her work has been published in numerous magazines including Ambit and The Rialto. Her debut poetry pamphlet If I talked everything my eyes saw was shortlisted for a 2017 Michael Marks Award. Her writing has also been featured as part of performance festivals such as The Yard Theatre’s Now 14 and 2016 Independent Dance, What Remains.
