Marija Grech lectures in English Literature and Critical Theory at the University of Malta. She has a PhD in Critical and Cultural Theory from Cardiff University (UK) and an MA and BA (Hons) in English Literature from the University of Malta. Her research considers the intersections of human life, animal life and technology in literature, critical theory and the natural sciences. She has published on the work of the science fiction writer Daniel H. Wilson, on the experimental writing of Christine Brooke-Rose,and on posthumanism. She is currently working on a book on spectrality and survivance in the Anthropocene.
