Lisa Nakamura

Lisa Nakamura is the Gwendolyn Calvert Baker Collegiate Professor of American Cultures at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and coordinator of its Digital Studies Program. She is the author of four books on racism, sexism, and the Internet. Her book Workers Without Bodies: Racism, Sexism, and Digital Labour in Social media and Gaming is under contract with University of Minnesota Press as a paper book and as an open access .pdf. She serves as a co-facilitator for FemTechNet.org, a network of feminist scholars teaching open and connected courses on feminism and technology and researching gender and politics in online spaces.
