Europe's masked ball: East meets West at the wall
Reflections on the fall of the wall at a moment of crisis for European symbolic systems and cultural identities. The wall acted as a mirror to the social constructions of each other by East and West. Its collapse shows that the boundary on the map was also nothing more than a social construction.
