Marx & Engels Collected Works Vol 45

Marx and Engels: 1874-1879

Jun 1991

Volume 45 contains Marx and Engels letters to each other and to third persons from January 1874 to December 1879.  In particular they reflect the new stage in the history of the working-class movement and Marxist theory that began in the 1870s after the Paris Commune.  The correspondence is a rich source for the study of the emergence of socialist parties in numerous countries, and for the spread of Marx and Engels’ ideas.
