Who owns the progressive future?
The economic crisis has upset the status quo. There now exists an opportunity for a politics of social justice, ecological sustainability and economic stability. Alternatively, a more authoritarian and xenophobic politics might take hold. Whatever the outcome, the political response to the recession will define our society for several decades to come. Who will create a popular, progressive politics for these times?
