Editorial

Now is the time for the left to put forward alternatives to the misery brought on us all by neoliberalism. The tired policies of the New Labour old guard and the obvious bankruptcy of neoliberal economics offer an opportunity for a different political economy and an alternative set of values. Soundings 44 offers a range of ideas and themes for regenerating contemporary political discussion.
